X-Cats is a cattery which only breeds Siamese and Oriental Shorthair cats. We are affiliated to NRR and FiFe through our membership of Ishavskatten in Tromsø.

So, what's up with the cattery name? What does X stand for? Well... Siamese, and orientals in particular, have a certain extraterrestrial or alienish appearance, both to their eyes, face and body. So obviously, there is an association with the famous TV-series X-files. However, the X may also be understood as short for extreme, which these cats are indeed.
